Smell for me, Laura

I have been away from work since March 9th, with a combination bronchitis/sinus infection, and all that entails. Thankful for the variety of drugs that I received, only one from Laura's day--codeine cough syrup. Nasty tasting stuff, but makes it easier to get to sleep when coughing won't cease.

A side effect during illness was the loss of smell and taste, along with hearing being quite muffled.

I amused myself by thinking,

"Laura, you must be nose for both of you."

(the last thing she smelled was the odor of Jack, the brindle bulldog)

I didn't really notice that I couldn't smell anything until I changed the amazing odor free cat box.
There is no such thing as an amazing odor free cat box.

I am now in the grumpy phase of recuperation. There may be a week of grumpy posts ahead.

I might post in detail why I hate the Sylvia episode of LHOP so very, very much.

Rosebunting, you make me laugh with your words.

We are sinus sufferers in arms this month. I have also been suffering from sinus/bronchitis for the last two weeks. The coughing and nasty stuff that it produces is just awful. Levaquin antibiotics have helped immensely even though they are $21 per pill. Thank God for insurance. Are you able to utilize the Canadian pharmacies up your way?

I usually loose my voice when it hits me, but I was lucky this time.

Hope you bounce back fast!

Each prescription costs me $10 on my work insurance. I let my passport lapse, so I need to reapply before I can go back to Canada, other than going to Peace Arch Park in Blaine.
